It's Time for a GIVEAWAY!
If you’re like me, you are beyond stressed about what is going on in the world right now. AND, you have suddenly found yourself homeschooling your kids. I thought what better time for a giveaway and send someone a brand new book bundle for their home bookshelf, giving their kids a few new books to read.
I’ve joined forces with a handful of great authors to bring you a selection of books that features the innate strength, individuality and acceptance children possess.
The authors and books included in this Giveaway are:
Ben’s Adventures Books by Elizabeth Gerlach (me!) — a children’s book series starring young Ben who uses a wheelchair. He loves to dream up fun adventures and shows that ALL kids can play and dream … despite any medical or physical differences.
Just Like You Except A Little Bit Different by 9yo Laura - a sweet book written to improve awareness and spread acceptance of children with differences. Laura wrote the book to show the kids are more alike than they are different.
Girl With A Cape by Amy Logan - It’s a book that empowers all who read it by promoting the power of everyday kindness. Join the C.A.P. E. Campaign and Create a Positive Environment. Simple acts as saying hello, opening the door, and using your words to live people up.
Billy’s Sister by Jessica Leving - A book dedicated to showing how awesome growing up with a special needs sibling can be! Based on the author’s real-life experiences with her sister, it explores how siblings of kids with disabilities are special, too!
Kelly and the Great Pinewood Derby by Jordan Burk - Inspired by the author’s uncle who lives with Down Syndrome, the Kelly & Kelso books work to spread awareness of Down Syndrome. In this first book, readers will see what it truly means to use teamwork and friendship to achieve a goal.
Why Is Different Awesome? by Stacey Montgomery - Part of the "My Super Powers?" guided journal series, it celebrates differences by encouraging kids to embrace what is different about them and to accept differences in others.
